Walmart's November Savings:
Clear, On-Brand, On Time

Context & My Role
In October 2025, I worked within Walmart’s Creative Studio on the November Savings digital campaign, designing email and push notification assets that promoted seasonal deals ahead of peak shopping season.
This was my first month at Walmart, so alongside designing, I was learning how a large, highly structured creative organization operates. The work moved fast and required close collaboration across designers, copywriters, project managers, account managers, and marketers, all while staying tightly aligned to Walmart’s brand system.
I joined the project as a contributing Marketing Designer, focused on ramping up quickly and being a reliable partner to the team.
What I did
I supported the design and production of email and push notification assets from start to finish by:
-
Designing layouts in Figma using Walmart’s established visual identity
-
Setting up files to meet Creative Studio production standards
-
Exploring multiple layout directions to balance clarity, hierarchy, and value-forward messaging
-
Iterating quickly based on feedback from multiple stakeholders
-
Managing reviews and approvals through Adobe Workfront
Because this was an enterprise environment, success wasn’t just about design—it was about staying organized, responsive, and adaptable as feedback evolved.

This project highlighted how much strong marketing design depends on collaboration. Assets moved through layered reviews, and each round required thoughtful adjustments and clear communication. I worked closely with cross-functional partners to ensure designs stayed on-brand, accessible, and production-ready, while still moving fast.
Collaboration
Result
The November Savings emails and push notifications launched on time and were well received by stakeholders. The work met Creative Studio standards and supported a high-visibility seasonal campaign during a critical retail period.
Reflection
This project was a strong introduction to Walmart’s Creative Studio and to designing at enterprise scale. I learned how to navigate complex workflows, use tools like Figma Insitu and Adobe Workfront, and contribute meaningfully while still onboarding.
Most of all, it reinforced a strength I rely on often: I learn fast, I collaborate well, and I show up as someone teams can count on, especially in high-volume, high-impact marketing work.
